We can’t wait for you to discover this for yourself as a Global Operations APEX DDL Domain Lead in AustinRole Overview:In this role, you will work closely with APEX business stakeholders & DAA team members to review/define requirements, identify relevant CDEs, work with cross functional team to identify data sources and with IT team to ensure quality data ingestion to DDL.
Also works in the architecture, definition, facilitation and implementation of quality processes and standards in alignment with business objectives by adopting best practices from industry standards/models, drives continuous quality improvement through strategy, data management systems and metrics for measurable results to achieve customer delight, and builds and promotes a data primacy culture in the organization, through innovative data infrastructure, communications, awareness programs, and training.
In addition, you will be supporting the Data Analytics & Automation leadership as required.Roles and responsibilities* Develop APEX data roadmap and drive alignment with stakeholders* Oversees all activities related to APEX domain, specifically leading and managing all activities related to a specific data domain that is an aggregation of multiple data elements* Owns in-depth data knowledge with capability to manage availability, usability, integrity and security of data* Liaises with the Data quality team under DAA, business and the IT teams to monitor/resolve data issues and refine governance processes* Defines new use case / element enablement with functional business teams, including Finalize data requirements and Update Logical Data Model (LDM) / Common Data Model (CDM)Skill Requirements* 8+ years of related supply chain experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5+ years with a Master’s degree* Strong understanding of Supply Chain and related infrastructure* Strong communication and influencing skills* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Basic database skills such as SQL and analytics to ensure accuracy such as R, Python, AlteryxHere’s our story; now tell us yoursDell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
