POSITION SUMMARY:
Located in our Denver, Colorado Global Headquarters, the HR Business Partner (HRBP), Global Sales and Global Marketing, is a key member of the HR Leadership Team, reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
This position is responsible for designing and implementing people strategies that align with business objectives within our Global Sales and Global Marketing organizations.
The position serves as the primary point of contact and a key consultant to senior leadership on all human resource-related issues.
The HRBP balances the role of business leader advisor, employee champion and change agent.
This is a global role and is accountable for working closely and proactively with our HR Centers of Excellence, Regional HR Teams and business management to develop integrated solutions, and driving key HR initiatives for the Global Sales and Global Marketing organizations.
The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about their group’s financial position, strategic plans, culture and competition.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Builds strong working relationships with senior leadership in the Global Sales and Global Marketing organizations, influencing and challenging business partners on the development of HR strategies and initiatives Acts as a key member of the Global Sales and Global Marketing functional leadership teams, attending staff meetings, representing HR initiatives and being a champion for people and culture within the organization.
Regularly meets with business partner groups to have an understanding of the business needs, objectives and proactively recommends people strategies to meet the business needs.
Partners with senior leadership to evaluated talent strengths, gaps and development opportunities.
Drives, advises and supports cultural and people aspects of organizational change, structures, processes and best practice initiatives.
Acts as the primary HR contact for all HR initiatives for the Global Sales and Global Marketing groups, partnering with COE leadership on programs, providing input as it relates to the business.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership where needed (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides guidance and input on organizational design, change management, workforce planning, compensation planning, talent management and succession planning.
Identifies development needs for the Global Sales and Global Marketing organizations, and partners with the Talent Development COE to ensure development goals are accomplished.
Exemplifies diversity and inclusion and maintains an environment that fosters employee engagement.
Proactively solves problems for both the HR and business group using knowledge of people, change management and communications.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normal office environment, some travel up to 25% of time.
SKILLS:
Strong business acumen and communication skills, possessing both credibility and integrity.
Strong understanding of traditional HR tools: staffing, organization design, performance management, HR measurement and legal compliance.
Understanding of workforce demographic issues/trends.
Demonstrated relationship and influencing skills that will be effective in a complex, rapidly moving organization.
Creative in approach with diplomacy.
Proven ability to effectively deal with conflict.
Ability to work conceptually as well as deliver operationally and will possess a strong mix of strategic and operational HR skills.
Ability to lead an organization effectiveness initiative, both strategically and operationally.
Strong relationship management skills; a skillful team player with the ability to network effectively up, down and across the business.
EXPERIENCE:
Ten plus years experience in Human Resources, current in a senior partner role, supporting senior leadership in a large global organization.
Must have experience and working knowledge in all HR disciplines.
Experience designing and implementing people strategies to resolve complex business issues within a fast paced environment.
Desireable:
Experience partnering with Global Sales, Global Marketing, Product Marketing or General Management leadership.
Experience working within an HR function for a global engineering, technology and / or manufacturing company.
EDUCATION:
 Four year degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM CP or SHRM SCP Masters Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
Compensation: $130,000
– $170,000
