General Laborer

Job Description Arrow Workforce is URGENTLY HIRING APPLY TODAY Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available (Mon – Fri, with some weekends) Pay Rate: $15 – $20/hr depending on performance Position: In this position, you will be responsible for general duties involving: Applicants will be considered for general production, including live hang, type openings on the 2nd shift. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for a plant tour. Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends. Some departments are hot/wet and some are cold/wet. Some positions require using knives and scissors. Positions require walking to the job station. Some jobs require climbing stairs or climbing onto a work stand. Some positions require pushing, pulling, or lifting over 40 lbs. Jobs are fast-paced and require repetitive motion. Position requires standing approximately 8.5 hours/day on a concrete floor or on metal stands. Some jobs require lifting above shoulder level. Requires working at a moving line inspecting, trimming and removing product, etc Qualifications: Some tasks require using a knife or scissors. Must be able to perform other assigned duties as well (5%) of the time Physical Demands Must be able to reach, twist and bend when performing the job task (70% of the time) Must be able to do repetitive motions with the hands and shoulders to perform the job tasks daily. Must be able to stand approximately 8.5 hours a day on a concrete floor. Environmental Factors Must be able to work in conditions of 45 degrees or colder. The job requires working in and around wet and dusty areas. Must be able to work in an area with a noise level of 85db or higher. Must be able to work in any other environmental factor such as humid, wet, and slippery
