Full-Stack Engineer

Overview:LMI is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Engineer to support our Digital Solutions service line on a team of engineers, product managers, and designers responsible for creating reliable, scalable, and high-performance web-based applications and products for LMI and its federal government clients.

This position will have significant influence on our overall product strategies by helping define features, drive solution architectures, and establish best practices.

The Full-Stack Engineer will work alongside other engineers and designers to design, develop, and deploy solutions across the full architecture, including infrastructure, data, applications, security, and user experience.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work with technologies across an entire application solution architecture and the ability to lead technical teams.

This position can be worked 100% remotely.Responsibilities:The Full-Stack Software Engineer will: * define and implement programmatic access (public and internal facing) for our clients that serve our federal government clients in a secure and privacy-compliant way;* enhance our core toolkit to enable easy implementation of discoverable services and application programming interfaces (APIs);* own new products from inception to deployment;* facilitate the development of solution architectures, from the schema and infrastructure to the complete user interface;* gain proficiency with current self-service, automation, and master data applications, and proactively improve them;* participate in the build-out and improvement of web-based applications;* develop Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs to provide integrated solutions;* drive enhancements throughout the full life cycle from concept to final implementation;* apply DevOps principles to continuously deliver high-quality software and shorten the software development lifecycle;* organize and lead technical sprints for the product team;* assist in the creation and upkeep of application best practices; and* participate and provide insight into the development of future enterprise solutions.Qualifications:* Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s preferred) in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related technical discipline* Preferred 4 years of experience engineering comprehensive software or application solutions* Experience working across the full architecture for web-based applications* Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)* Experience working with one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, Scala, Go or JavaScript This position may require obtain a US Government security clearance, for which you must be a US Citizen.EEO Statement:LMI is an Equal Opportunity Employer-all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
