GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Proper and expedient handling of all guest related functions.
Provide friendly and efficient service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS
Efficient check-in and check-out of guests.
Answer switchboard and direct calls appropriately.
Make, change, and cancel reservations.
Responsible for assigned bank and handling cash transactions.
Balance all work at end of shift, including credit cards and cash.
Run reports and complete all daily checklists, including call around reports, room rate variance report, etc.
Answer any and all questions from guests and vendors.
SECONDARY ELEMENTS
Build image of excellent service as first point of contact for vendors and guests.
Perform other duties as required or directed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum level: High School diploma, customer service experience helpful
Office skills: Computer literate, ability to operate office equipment; good phone skills
Interpersonal and customer service skills: Ability to operate within a fast paced, ever changing environment while maintaining a positive and cheerful attitude.
Equipment used: Computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine, telephone, paging system
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS
Position requires eight hours of standing and walking.
Extensive use of fingers and hands for typing, writing, answering phones, and other office related tasks.
Must be able to hear and speak to facilitate communications with guests, vendors, and other employees.
