Freelance Business Development Specialist

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development Role: (50% of time)
Core Responsibilities:
Support and achieve goals and objectives of the company within retail and professional distribution.

Inform Director of Business Development of key opportunities within key accounts to maximize complete brand representation and up-sell potential Service existing account base including education, merchandising, marketing and event support to ensure long term sales success Build and maintain store relationships, alliances and improve overall sell through results Attend and participate in MACADAMIA BEAUTY LLC approved direct tradeshows and sales events, as requested Maintain a productive work schedule Detail with Distributor Sales Consultants (DSCs) to grow existing salon business and open new doors Present at selected Distributor Sales Meetings, as requested Provide timely and detailed reports & timely submission of payroll forms
Education Role: (50% of time)
Core Responsibilities:
Communicate and implement promotional programs to stores to ensure successful results Distribute education material for new product launches Conduct trainings with store & distributor teams on new product launches Participate in monthly conference calls to stay current in the training standards of the company Conduct education and training for the following: Store product knowledge trainings Store and sales support trainings Retail assisted selling days Support and assist accounts with merchandising suggestions to maximize consumer sell-through Salon Product knowledge classes
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
2 years of beauty sales experience, proven successful sales track record 2 years of merchandising experience Cosmetology license preferred Achievement and performance oriented Excellent communication and business management skills Self-motivated, shows initiative and is driven to succeed Excellent reporting skills Strategic planning and execution Proficient computer skills Valid Driver’s License and have access to a properly maintained vehicle
Job Type: Contract

Pay: $23.00 per hour
