    Job Description

    As an integral part of Intel’s new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO.

    IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally.

    Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe
    – available for customers globally
    – and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can choose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with Arm and RISC-V ecosystem IPs.

    IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry-standard design packages.

    Intel Foundry Services is looking for foundry Customer Engineer who will focus on foundry customer’s programs.

    You will act as the primary engineering interface with customers and all other functional teams within Intel to achieve foundry account milestones and Intel Foundry business goals.

    This position requires you to work with both customer and internal teams seamlessly in various phases from technology promotion, design, NPI, to mass production.

    The CE will focus on Intel Foundry business growth by providing engineering services excellency.

    In this role, you are responsible for but not limited to:

    • Act as first line response to foundry customer technical and engineering requests

    • Communicate effectively between foundry customer and Intel internal teams to achieve Intel Foundry business goals.

    • Achieve customer satisfaction by developing customer relationship, responding to customer ARs, and driving effective solutions to meet customer and Intel Foundry goals.

    • Develop solid understanding of customer products and Intel foundry offering.

      Support customer cost analysis to help select best technology options.

    • Manage the engagement process.

      Clearly communicate technology development, enhancement, and design enablement status.

      Coordinate design kit and IP library releases to meet customer product development requirements.

    • Managing engineering projects to support/coordinate customer technology evaluation and pre-production testchip developments and SI verification.

      Resolve issues and meet customer needs in development and production.

    • Develop strong partnership with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions in all domains for best foundry experience for customers: process yield ramping, stability control, device targeting and performance improvement, reliability, product qualification, design productivity, design service, PDK quality, library and IP portfolio.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field of study.

    • 2+ years of foundry customer account and program management experience

    Experience:

    Strong expertise in any one or multiple of the following areas:

    • Process technology development, process integration, yield enhancement

    • Logic, SRAM, Analog, RF, High voltage device engineering, targeting, modeling

    • DTCO, STCO and PPAC analysis

    • Advanced Digital, Analog, RF, Memory design and design flows

    • PDK development and design enablement

    • Foundation IP, IP development

    • Design Service, Ecosystem engagement

    • Packaging, advanced packaging development

    • Product reliability analysis

    • Product signoff criteria

    • Testchip design

    • Product engineering and qualification

    • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, capable of articulating complex concepts and solutions.

    • Demonstrated leadership to secure supports and guide cross-functional teams in achieving goals.

    • Experience with ecosystem partnership collaborations.
