is a national leader in the fire protection and security industry and has an immediate opening for a qualified Fire Alarm Low Voltage Wireman in Parker, Colorado.
Fire Alarm Low-Voltage Wireman is expected to be self-sufficient in the pre-wiring fire alarm system.
They have the tools necessary to complete pre-wiring tasks.
They will start assembling the tools and knowledge necessary to advance to the position of a Fire Alarm Technician.
Salary Ranges: Starting at $17 and up to $24 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities/Requirements: * Ability to read and interpret plans/blueprints* Basic knowledge and understanding of how fire alarm systems function and the wiring requirements of all devices for the above-mentioned systems* Knowledge of the pre-wire standards set forth by the National Electric Code (NEC) including bend radius, pull strength, fastening and proper labeling of the above-mentioned systems* Accuracy in wiring and cable labeling* Accurate documentation of complete and incomplete tasks in order to avoid call-backs, service calls, or damage to property due to remodeling missing cabling/devices* Attendance* Reliable transportation* Dedication to learning the industry and industry standards* Excellent work ethic and attitude Required Tools: * OSHA approved hard hat (Provided)* OSHA approved safety glasses (Provided)* Safety Vest (Provided)* Work Boots* Wire Stripper* Diagonal Cutters* LinemanÂ’s pliers* Straight-claw electrical type hammer* Utility Knife* Electrical Tool Belt* Needle-nose pliers* Flashlight* Phillips and Flat Blade screwdrivers* Drill* Screwdriver / Screw tip set* Electrical hot stick Benefits : * Competitive Pay* Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance* 401(k) with company match* Voluntary Life and Disability Insurance* Paid Leave* 8 Paid Holidays Annually The Hiller Companies, Inc.
