Our team is in search of ambitious, curious, and mission-driven Mid-Level Software Engineers, with technical leadership skills, to work on the next generation of industrial technologies.

We are building the platforms, services, and hardware integrations that enable our customers to understand and act on all of the data that powers their operations.ABOUT THE ROLE:Fathom5 is currently designing a first of its kind Maritime Domain Awareness System (MDAS), which will be placed on buoys that are capable of harvesting wave energy to power the edge computing platform we are building.

Each buoy will collect radar, photo, video, GPS (global positioning system), AIS (maritime anti-collision protocol), and other sensor data to monitor protected fisheries and police protected waters in previously inaccessible locations.

You will assist in the design, implementation, and deployment of micro services which will be deployed to both the cloud and edge to connect customers to a literal ocean of data.This job might be for you if:You enjoy solving challenging problems with small, cross-functional teams.

from an accredited four-year university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electric Engineering with a CS focus.

4 or more years of experience in a professional engineering environmentCoding academy and other professional certifications are also welcomed and accepted!This is a full-time opportunity at our offices in Austin, TX.
