Fabrication Field Installer

Overview:

Fabrication Field Installers needed for design build fabrication shop in northwest Denver.

Fabricators and Installers work with blueprints or other printed plans to develop parts for products.

They may use machines to put products together and monitor the quality of each assembled part.

Must also have excellent physical strength and stamina for this demanding job.

Strong dexterity and excellent color vision are also helpful.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
Check measurements and dimensions of each piece with rulers, measuring tapes or squares.
Place each product component in its appropriate spot as noted in the blueprints for proper alignment by using a level, tape measure, screw gun, or another tool.
Mark spots to cut and use tools to manipulate steel, wood, or other materials by cutting, hammering, bending, or grinding the workpiece.
Review blueprints, drawings, and other specification papers before starting work on an installation process and during the steps to ensure accurate completion.
Make templates for common work tasks when conducting repetitive motions for the fabrication process to ensure a set standard of work quality.
Ability to understand all safety requirements and cautions.
Loading and offloading trucks.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Two or more years of experience in installations.
Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the construction trades.
Ability to comprehend blueprints and work specifications.
Understanding of construction tasks and industrial processes.
Excellent color vision and hand dexterity.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills having to do with homeowners and peers.
Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 75 pounds or more.
Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information.
Utilize hand and finger dexterity
Compensation and Hours:

7:30am
– 4:00pm Monday
– Friday

$20-25 depending on experience.

Compensation will be strictly based on experience and speed.
