This role can be performed remotely but will be required to be in our Akron, Ohio offices on a monthly basis.
Role Objective
Provide excellent customer service and help make GOJO profitable.
Process International customer orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Perform daily order and international shipping activities to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction; solve and communicate issues as they occur.
Provide sales support to specific territories/trades.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, GOJO sellers, reps, and freight forwarders in support of department goals and objectives.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Enter customer orders into SAP.
Manage order fulfillment and logistics process from obtaining purchase orders from customers through order delivery to destination.
Prepare export documents to guarantee the proper movement of goods.
Work with others to develop a smooth container-loading schedule to meet and maintain acceptable customer service levels.
Prepare, verify, and send appropriate commercial documents needed for customers to import GOJO products into destination country/s.
Solve problems involving customer orders, product availability, and late / delayed shipments to maximize customer satisfaction.
Customer collections.
Handle all inquiries for support; including for merchandise, brochures, labels, sell sheets, etc.
Coordinate activities between GOJO sellers, manufacturers’ reps, and internal processes.
Support the application and development of Key Distributor terms, Agreements, and sales plans.
Identify issues that require sales management involvement.
Help GOJO comply with US Foreign Trade Regulations.
Maintaining and making new contacts with freight forwarders to ensure that the best service and rates are available for air shipments.
Identify and explain GOJO products to meet customer specific needs.
Special projects
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field and minimum two years’ experience in international shipping
OR
High school diploma and minimum three to five years’ experience in international shipping
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
SAP experience strongly preferred
Experience working directly with international logistics and direct experience with international customers and vendors required
Proficiency in Spanish or Arabic preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00
– $60,000.00 per year
