Overview

Reports To: Manager, Enterprise Risk

Primary Functions : Conduct detailed, comprehensive and independent risk analyses and risk assessments, as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct applicable risk assessments on the various products, services, programs, entities, and locations throughout the enterprise as directed by the Manager, Enterprise Risk.
• Perform risk analyses and prepare management reports applicable to risks inherent in the business of the credit union and its subsidiary Credit Union Service Organizations.
• Conduct research on new and existing products and services for potential risks.
• Effectively communicate the results of analyses and assessments to management and the Chief Risk Officer.
• Perform routine monitoring, analyses, and reporting of operational and enterprise risks.
• Prepare and maintain risk management documentation, risk policies, and risk reports.
• Assist in the preparation, publication, and distribution of committee agenda packets to members.
• Assist in the maintenance of the Risk Assessment Resource Center and Enterprise Risk Management department portal
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Two years experience in a similar position or in an analytical environment.

Risk Analysis experience preferred, but not required.

Experience/Skills: Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and via written reports and analysis.

Demonstrated use of quantitative analytical skills.

Must be well-organized, possess an analytical mind, and require minimal direct supervision.

Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and draw valid conclusions from data and analytics gathered.

Demonstrated proficiency in the use of personal computers and applicable software programs, applications, and/or systems.

Tenure: Assignment to the Enterprise Risk Analyst I category 10, Enterprise Risk Analyst II category 09 or Enterprise Risk Analyst III category 08, or Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst category 07 will be determined by the candidates education or experience.

Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidates certifications and/or performance.
