NCI has been designated a 2020 Military Friendly Employer by MilitaryFriendly.com Responsibilities NCI: As the NCI: The Enterprise Innovation Manger (EIM) is responsible for organizational leadership on emerging technology issues, management of emerging technology research and assessment for alignment of the technology vision with business strategy and working closely with NCI Task Leads. The EIM will drive the implementation of disruptive technology and innovation throughout the entire organization. The EIM will be responsible for creating a funnel of emerging technology to ensure PD ALTESS maintains a technological edge within industry. The EIM will direct and oversee the process to analyze and improve upon technology standards, enhance and automate IT/business operations and maintain organizational awareness of new technologies. The EIM will have a broad/wide technology understanding for agnostic solutioning focused on technology innovation and will bring outside knowledge of Automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions in order to impact the organization and manage the change, reduce risk, and drive adoption of Artificial Intelligence solutions. By combining RPA with cognitive technologies such as machine learning (ML), speech recognition, and natural language processing, PD ALTESS will be able to automate higher-order tasks with Artificial Intelligence (AI) that in the past required the perceptual and judgement capabilities of humans. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI’s mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments Responsibilities: * Review all customer Requirements and provide recommended automations or AI solutions, that could either reduce cost or increase quality for the requirements. * Provide a technology communication plan. * Responsible for supporting the strategy, design, development and deployment of IA and RPA technology-enabled solutions to help streamline organizational requirements and processes. * Ensure security by removing human error and insider threat. Enhancing data protection by enabling Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability by using automation. * Responsible for leading the automated architecture planning, development, and implementation effort through the delivery of quality and timely projects by working closely with the business analyst and project manager(s). * Responsible for translating business requirements into well architected solutions improving quality and efficiencies throughout the various system lifecycle. * Responsible for leading the architectural design sessions as the technical SME. * Prepare Solution Design Documents and develop framework for automation processes. * Monitor and measuring the effectiveness of the bots to report on impact of the solution. * Responsible for ensuring the product/solution architecture & existing ongoing Application Architecture is scalable and extensible. * Train other team members on AI and RPA capability and provide guidance as needed. * Proactively identify issues and provide solutions to mitigate and resolve issues. * Responsible for estimating costs and preparing business cases for IT solutions, giving due consideration to infrastructure, licensing, development and support. * Work with agile development team(s) to refine and expand the automation based upon users’ feedback. Qualifications Requirements: * Clearance: Secret * Education and experience: BA, 10 – 15 Years related experience * Certifications: * IA – IAM I (CAP, GSLC, Security+) * CE – Industry certification Preferred Experience: * Minimum 4 years experience in Information Technology at an Agile environment * Minimum 4 years experience writing automation scripts (Ruby, JavaScript, or similar) * Proficient with integration testing and tools like Selenium * Ability to understand large scale software & system architecture * Able to communicate technical issues with technical & non-technical stakeholders * Experience in one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Python, Java, Ruby * Experience with Atlassian Tools Suite – Jira/Confluence * Understanding of Continuous integration, testing, deployment & release methodologies * Ability to understand large scale software & system architecture * Able to communicate technical issues with technical & non-technical stakeholders * Experience in one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Python, Java, Ruby * Experience with Atlassian Tools Suite – Jira/Confluence * Understanding of Continuous integration, testing, deployment & release methodologies PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions: * Sitting for long periods * Standing for long periods * Ambulate throughout an office * Ambulate between several buildings * Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required * Travel by land or air transportation 10% It is the policy of NCI to provide equal opportunity in recruiting, hiring, training, and promoting individuals in all job categories without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected class or category as may be defined by federal, state, or local laws or regulations.
