**28291BR****Requisition ID:**28291BR**Business Unit:**TSU**Job Description:**The Environmental Services Group (ESG) has an immediate need for an Emerging Contaminants/PFAS Practice Leader.

The Practice Leader is a global technical and sales role with responsibility for growing the business through technical advancement, innovative applications, and luminescence.

As a “thought leader” at CDM Smith you will present visionary and influential views in Emerging Contaminants/PFAS within our remediation, solid waste, drinking water and wastewater practices both internally and to our clients.**We are open to filling this position in any of our offices across the United States**As the Practice Leader and visionary, you would contribute to CDM Smith’s transformational growth by:
• Advancing the practice through technical ingenuity, innovation, and growing top line sales.
• Positioning us technically, ahead of challenges being recognized in the marketplace.
• Collaborating with the client service units, pre-positioning for major pursuits by identifying and showcasing our technical differentiators.

• Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline
• Professional engineering (PE) license or related discipline with professional scientist registration/certification OR Master’s degree in Science or related discipline
• Proven leadership and visionary abilities.

as well as credit and motor vehicle when applicable for certain positions.

In addition, CDM Smith may conduct drug testing for designated positions.

Background checks are conducted after an offer of employment has been made in the United States.

The timing of when background checks will be conducted on candidates for positions outside the United States will vary based on country statutory law but in no case, will the background check precede an interview.

CDM Smith will conduct interviews of qualified individuals prior to requesting a criminal background check, and no job application submitted prior to such interview shall inquire into an applicant’s criminal history.
