We are looking for:
Emergency Triage Coordinator
Never a dull moment in the ER!

Our Emergency team is the perfect place for technicians who thrive in a fast-paced environment, can shift gears quickly and handle the stress of critical situations with ease.

Every day is different and there’s never the same case twice!

What you’ll do:
Manage Emergency cases coming in and identify case urgency
Assign cases to doctors based on current workload, maintaining appropriate case throughput through appropriate triaging/patient assessment
Communicate with clients about patient status and wait times
Assess clinical flow on triage floor and ensure patient throughput is efficient and timely
Communicate with managers regarding staffing concerns or influx in case volume and acuity
Have clinical experience and ability to function as triage technician: this includes venipuncture, taking radiographs, animal restraint, administering medications, obtaining histories, creating cage sheets and inputting charges.

Who you are:
Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desired
Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
