RESPONSIBILITIES: Review current EHS programs and activities to ensure compliance with all government agency and regulatory requirements.

Report, monitor, and correct environmental, health, and safety problems/issues.

Lead and promote safe work practices by developing proactive EHS systems, policies, and procedures Advance safety and environmental campaigns, communications, and recognitions in line with business strategies.

Continue distinctive approaches to learning and conduct training for all employees.

Aid in the development, implementation, and maintenance of company and regulatory EHS policies, standards, guidelines, and programs to meet the overall improvement strategy.

Help achieve environmental and safety goals, including injury, water, energy, and waste reduction.

Support the company’ s sustainability strategy to ensure site is achieving company goals.

Manage an environmental, health and safety audit program, including industrial hygiene.

Keep up a PPE program.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have bachelor’ s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical discipline 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Must have strong working knowledge of EHS regulations and requirements (EPA, OSHA, etc.) Must be knowledgeable in the technical fundamentals of safety management and risk assessments and reduction, including machinery safety, ergonomics, and occupational health Must be familiar with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 EHS management systems Experience in plastic injection molding and highly automated manufacturing environments is preferred Must be able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while managing multiple assignments with strict deadlines Must be skilled at using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) BENEFITS: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401K Contract to Hire Paid time off Ask for: Ashton Cruey ashtonajuliaexecutivesearch.com Ajulia Executive Search is a New Jersey based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches in multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical.
