Data & Analytics utilize advanced data manipulation techniques and data visualization tools in their expertise of sourcing and transforming of data that provide actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain a strong understanding of business results & key business drivers, as well as an understanding of key strategies & priorities of business,to be able to apply business knowledge to analytic approach to address business questions.
Drive measurement and improvement strategies by connecting business activity to outcomes that will help achieve stated goals.Develop business relationships and partnerships with cross-functional targeted business owners and senior leaders across the organization.Analyze the effectiveness of programs, perform advance calculations, summarize and present data to enhance future efforts using appropriate descriptive statistical methods.Design technical, functional, and impactful prototype to discover business questions, validate use cases and uncover key requirements.
Create data visualizations that simplify complex information in a robust, accurate, and appealing way that engages end users and drives them to action.Conduct meaningful descriptive data analysis to inform business decisions.
Primarily by performing root cause, exploratory, sensitivity and scenario analysis, hypothesis testing, economic modeling and data visualization to identify patterns/trends/insights etc.
on ambiguous business problems.Identify, extract, clean, transform, validate, and model data across multiple domains using various technologies and languages (SQL, Hive, Pig, etc)Utilize new and advanced methods to extract, transform and load data.Build requirements for, develop, and enhance automated processes that provide functional areas with data and information.Document, monitor, and proactively recommend improvement to processes and controls related to area responsibilities while quantifying the impact of changes for leaders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams responsible for implementing projects in support of divisional and firm-wide business objectives; occasionally lead cross-functional teams responsible for divisional objectives while following an analytics development lifecycleEducate other team members, associates, and leaders across the firm on data and statistical concepts and best practices.Communicate across a wide range of audiences with specialized subject matter expertise including finance, compliance, marketing, products, branch development, and technology.Train and mentor lower level analysts to follow appropriate procedures and understand the best practices for interacting with the information systemWork with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.Undergraduate degree required, preferably in the areas of mathematics, finance, business, engineering, sciences, and information systems.
