ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Coordinate training concepts and methods and execute training in coordination with other Branches, Recovery Partner staff and other National Trainer(s).Act as subject matter expert in aseptic technique and maintain a high level of proficiency in the surgical environment and the recovery of tissue.Train and educate CTS and Recovery Partner employees on proper recovery procedures to ensure incoming tissue is optimal in size, quality and yield.Provide consistent hands-on training, communication and leadership to CTS and Recovery Partner employees to provide for effectiveness and consistency of training.Provide hands-on training designed to improve specific performance issues.Perform competency assessments and provide continuing education activities for the maintenance of staff CTBS certification.
Ensure uncertified staff participate in continuing education pertaining to assigned functions.Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new processes, technologies, and equipment.Create and maintain departmental Master Lists, training modules, and training program materials.
Ensure training documentation is accurate, complete, organized and readily available.Maintain knowledge of, support and work to ensure compliance CBC/CTS SOP”s and Policies.Maintain knowledge of industry regulations and standards.Maintain a safe environment at all times when performing hands-on training.Work effectively to maintain interdepartmental cooperation and respect.Perform all other duties as assigned.
