Are you ready?PositionOverview: The Eaton Internship Program – Information Technology isdesigned to provide opportunities to a diverse mix of students who demonstratethe same high level of ethics, values, creativity and performance we expectfrom our employees. During the 12-14-week paid internship, students will workon projects that have a measurable impact on our business and will be coachedand mentored by Eaton leaders. Students will develop skills through structuredtraining, coaching and networking events. Internship assignments may be in theareas of business intelligence (data mining), project management processes,business analysis, systems architecture, IT security, enterprise resourceplanning and management systems, web and mobile applications,telecommunications and data infrastructure processes, innovation and softwareand many other disciplines. Eaton’s IT function is broad and serves as thebackbone for service delivery at a premier industrial diversified manufacturer.Wherever your career aspirations lie, you can cultivate your skills in theEaton Internship Program – Information Technology. Aftercompletion of the internship and upon graduation, your experience and newlyacquired skills could lead you to a variety of career paths, such as the EatonDevelopment Program – Information Technology. This full-time, rotationalprogram would provide you the opportunity to have several assignments ininformation technology-related areas that are progressive in jobresponsibilities and provide a broad experience across multiple business units,to develop a variety of business and technical skills.?QualificationsBasic Qualifications(Including Educational Requirements):+ Actively pursuing abachelor’s degree program in engineering or business with a major in ManagementInformation Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, DataScience/Statistics, Operations/Industrial Management/Engineering, Computing orTechnology Systems from an accreditedinstitution+ Minimumoverall cumulative GPA of 2.9 or higher (please do not round)+ Mustbe legally authorized to work in the United States without Companysponsorship+ Minimumof one internship or co-op experience completed at the time of this application PreferredQualifications:+ Geographicalflexibility to relocate within the United States for this Internship Program+ Desireto build a career in Information Technology+ Minimumoverall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (please do not round)+ Demonstratedleadership experience within campus and/or the communityPosition Criteria:+ Strong problem solvingand business process skills+ Proven technicalability through coursework and work experience+ Self-motivated and astrong desire to achieve results+ Demonstrated leadershipexperience within campus and/or community+ Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills+ Willingness to relocatefor the summer internship assignment+ This role may includetravel (up to 25%) within a local region as determined by the assignmentmanager.+ Transportation to andfrom the worksite and for incidental business travel is the responsibility ofthe intern; however, expenses for required and approved business travel (notincluding the worksite) will be reimbursed.+ The summer internshipculminates with a formal presentation where students showcase their successstories to leaders of the organization and receive feedback on theirperformance.
