Description

JOB PURPOSE:   
Responsible for the Direct Care Staff in providing care and safety of the clients reading in the facility. Additionally, the Direct Care Staff Training Coordinator will provide individual and group training for partners in the proper care of the clients. The Direct Care Staff Training Coordinator must be able to provide specialized training and use that training in the day to day performance of their duties. The duties are of a high degree of responsibility and are performed under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Direct Care Staff Training Coordinator shall have at least a High School Diploma.
 
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least 1 year of providing care for special needs patients.
 
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: 
None
 
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)
1) One year employed in a similar position. 2) One year employed as a child care worker. 3). One year employed in a health service occupation.
