Overview

Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) is looking for talented healthcare team members to step into our culturally diverse health centers!

NOAH is a federally qualified healthcare center (section 330 grantee) that provides affordable, high-quality outpatient healthcare services to Maricopa County.

Our integrated model of care places patients’ needs at the center of attention as we deliver comprehensive health services including medical, dental, psychiatry, counseling, nutrition, prenatal care, preventive health, eligibility assistance and health education programs.

With 9 healthcare centers throughout Maricopa County, we are a premier source for high quality healthcare.

FQHC/ Community Health and experience managing multiple outpatient clinic locations preferred

Responsibilities

Job Summary
The Director of Operations for NOAH directs, coordinates, and manages the operations and related activities of nine plus complex, multi-specialty FQHC clinics.

The Director oversees the management at each clinic and is responsible for primary care, internal medicine, OB/Pediatrics, etc., and coordinating integrated care with four plus service lines per location, including but not limited to; Dental, Behavioral Health, Psych, Nutrition, etc.

Responsibilities include oversight of multi-practice operations and procedures, continuous improvement in clinical operations and implementation of standardized policies and procedures, leading practice manager staff, financial management, revenue cycle management, business development and capital proposals, as well as ensuring compliance with HRSA regulations and other state/national requirements.

Responsible for ensuring that high quality patient care and customer service is delivered in the most financially efficient way.

Works in a strong dyad relationship with the providers, medical directors and specialty operations director.

Collaborates with all leaders at NOAH to provide seamless and integrated service to our patients.

  • Develops & implements identified strategic and operational initiatives.

    Engages with key stakeholders, participates in all service line meetings, and acts as point of contact to ensure collaborative relationships between practices.

    Manages the planning, design and execution of initiatives and projects identified by senior leadership.

    Responsible for facilitating and/or leading effective communication around all projects to a variety of stakeholders, including physicians and Executive leaders.

    Continuously monitors the operations and workflow and revises operational procedures as necessary, in alignment with system practices, to ensure efficiency and drive extraordinary results.

    Constantly recognizes areas for improvement and implements efficiencies, including identifying quality indicators.

  • Responsible to hire and manage Practice Management team.

    Trains and mentors these leaders and establishes leadership expectations and defined accountabilities.

    Provides Practice Managers with expertise and support to resolve issues that arise in the practice.

    Ensures that all policies and procedures are consistently implemented and enforced.

    Engages in leadership rounding with staff and providers in order to receive feedback and develop action plans to continuously improve the practice environment.

    Holds Practice Managers accountable for staff and provider engagement and retention.

    Provides exceptional leadership and promotes teamwork and collaboration.

    Continuously develops, rewards, retains, and provides transparent performance feedback to all staff, leaders, and physicians.

  • Responsible for strong financial performance through ensuring proper controls and practices are followed and documented to secure the financial viability of the practice.

    Provides financial and operational oversight to the assigned region.

    In collaboration with Practice Managers and/or Practice Supervisors, monitors financial and operational metrics, identifies adverse trends and develops action plans to improve performance.

    Prepares and executes budget with practice managers

  • Ensures compliance for various accrediting bodies and ensures all necessary reviews, audits, education, and training are completed to maintain FQHC practice compliance and appropriate local state and federal guidelines.

    Works in conjunction with the compliance, risk and quality team.

    Ensures assigned practices meet all licensing, regulatory and accreditation requirements and oversees continuous readiness initiatives.

  • Collaborates with marketing to build and maintain community partnerships and relationships to attract new customers, retain existing customers and support NOAH’s desired brand positioning.

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years’ work related experience in Business Administration, Health Administration, Nursing or related field Required

Experience
5 years related/equivalent outpatient medical or physician practice experience Required
3 years managing multiple physician practices or a multi-specialty physician group Required
