Northrop Grumman is recruiting for a Director Digital Transformation 1 to join our team in Chandler, Arizona.

  • Serve as primary interface for LMDS to NGSP Sector Digital Transformation Leadership
    • Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, Global Supply Chain, and Agile
  • Identify LMDS programs as candidates for implementation of Digital Transformation Roadmap
    • Assess cost impacts for implementation
    • Establish key metrics that align with Sector vision and are relevant to LMDS missions
  • Evaluate existing capabilities/best practices for Digital Transformation relevance
    • NGPro/PMPro for Program Management
    • Previous IRAD investment in SW Factory as a Service
    • Integrated Digital Environments (Sharepoint, Teamcenter, NSIDE, others)
    • Leverage relationships in SEAG, DevOps, and Agile communities
  • Capture/Proposal/Program Review Digital Transformation support
    • Customer and Competitor Black Hats
    • Proposal Color Team Reviews
    • Program Gates – Startup Review, SRR, MRR, etc
  • Leadership Training/Mentoring
    • Support development of LX materials
    • Leverage NGSP Digital Transformation POCs to establish a coaches’ network

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline with 15+ years of related experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or other related Program Management function(s).

    –OR
    – Master’s degree with 13 + years of related experience.

  • Well-developed people leadership skills and at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to effectively lead diverse teams that are geographically dispersed and having direct and indirect reporting relationships.
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills and experience presenting project execution information to executive leadership.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance.

    US citizenship is a prerequisite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience leading systems engineering activities through CDR and System Verification is highly desirable. 
  • Experience with model-based system engineering methods is preferred.
  • Experience with launch vehicle systems, missile systems or space systems with complex mission and flight element requirements. 
  • Master’s degree in a STEM discipline
  • Prior experience with SEAG, DevOps, and Agile communities

Salary Range: 171100
– 256700

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.

Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
