Dietitian

Virginia Mason Memorial

This is a Full-time position in Yakima, WA posted March 2, 2022.

All staff members at Yakima Valley Memorial must be in compliance with the Vaccination Policy, which includes the COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) vaccine, by their first day of employment.

ROLE SUMMARY The Dietitian develops and implements nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy using established standards of care and practice protocols/guidelines.

This position works closely with the interdisciplinary health care tem to provide medical nutrition therapy and services that are integrated and compatible with the patient’s medical program goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field required.

Must receive a verification statement from an ACEND-accredited program and complete an ACEND-accredited supervised practice.

Experience: Clinical dietetics experience preferred.

Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration required.

Washington State (DOH) Dietitian Certification required.

Must maintain current certifications related to the specific role/responsibilities associated with job assignment.
