This is a limited License position for a registry eligible Technologist.
Employee must obtain ARRT and TMB licensure within 60 days of graduation from an approve/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Accountable for performing quality diagnostic imaging examinations with direct supervision from a registered radiologic technologist.
This position is accountable for providing direct patient care, transporting and maintaining expertise for all ages spanning from neonatal/ newborn to adults.
The patient acuity ranges from stable out patients to critically ill patients on full life support.
This position will be limited to second year student currently enrolled in an approved/accredited Radiology program and will not exceed 60 days after graduation.
Once employee is licensed as an ARRT technologist, they are no longer qualified for this position.
If continued employment is desired with Cook Children’s, employee will need to apply for an available radiographer position.
Education & Experience * Must have High School diploma or equivalent* Must obtain TMB licensure and ARRT within 60 days of graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program.* Currently enrolled and in good standing as a second year student of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program* Good interpersonal skills Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification * Licensed as a Non-Certified Technician by Texas Medical Board* CPR Certified INDMED Location: Cook Children’s Health Care System
