The Development Officer directs the activities and functions of the Atlantic General Hospital Foundation Planned Giving, Major Gifts and Membership Committees in accordance with the directives of the Foundation Board of Directors, VP of Public Relations, donor wishes and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.Qualifications: Candidate must have a BA/BS in English, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or Journalism.
Minimum of five years development and fundraising experience, preferably medical related, including corporate and foundation solicitation, planned giving, direct mail programs, major gifts and capital campaigns is preferred.
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral and must be computer proficient.
