“JOB SUMMARY
Ensure the efficient and balanced management of the commercial and public fund deposit portfolio for all regions, which include large complex urban markets and clients, in a manner that maximizes quality, profitability, and growth within the Bank’s overall deposit strategy and policies.
Provide leadership and strategic direction to regional leadership and relationship managers to accomplish goals.
Provide strategic line of business (LOB) direction for larger commercial segments and merger conversions.

Essential Functions:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.
Provide Regional President and senior leadership team management direction to assigned regions and segments, in order to achieve planned objectives for quality, profitability, and growth.
2.
Manage complex portfolios and provide consultative leadership for strategic commercial and public fund growth, combined with superior revenue results.
3.
Identify regional risks and opportunities, to develop action plans for corrective strategies.
4.
Serve as senior advisor to regional leadership, deposit administration teams and relationship manager groups.
Provide deposit portfolio results, guidance and discussing future strategy to accomplish corporate and deposit goals.
This role may also involve merger conversion leadership.
5.
Provide oversight and direction for deposit pricing decisions in order to ensure all policies are being adhered to within assigned regions/segments and profitability is maximized.
6.
Coach the regional teams on how to effectively inspect and evaluate the performance of their teams, ensuring execution of specific or other corporately defined initiatives.
7.
Monitor peer and industry developments as they relate to deposit products and trends, and use this information to formulate strategies for assigned regions.
8.
Provide rate and structure information, on large competitive bids.
Coordinate with Treasury to maximize service to client with profitability to Bank.
