An Application Specialist III on our Deposits Team with a passion to provide exceptional service to client institutions by reviewing and resolving complex issues received by client telephone calls, web portal submissions and/or emails.

What you’ll do…

  • Research customer issues by reviewing system documentation, user manuals and industry periodicals/websites
  • Assist users with processing routine and complex transactions or issues involving workstation
  • Collect information, troubleshoot problems and develop solutions for issues
  • Submit special processing requests from clients. Follow up when completed to ensure accuracy of the completed job
  • Schedule input of all changes. Assure change management process is completed properly and validate accuracy of maintenance performed.
  • Resolve more complex research assignments as assigned
  • Share and documents resolutions of assigned research with team for communication to clients
  • Set-up of client’s feature implementations, projects, and document procedures
  • Determine area responsible for advanced resolution of issue and assigns case; ensures the final resolution of the case and communicates to client
  • Ensure resolution of the case based on service level standards and periodically follows up with client throughout the resolution process
  • Provide front line support responding to client inquiries as needed

What you bring…

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or IT, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum two years’ banking experience, deposit operations (back office) and/or branch preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Critical thinking
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of financial services terminology and operational procedures
  • DNA and INSIGHT experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs; SQL experience a plus
  • Ability to make decisions when appropriate
  • Ability to project COCC’s Core Values to clients and others
  • Ability to multitask independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize and organize a high case load
  • Ability to assist and lead team members when appropriate
