GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Set up, operate portable power tools, or tend grinding and related hand tools to remove excess material or burrs from surfaces, sharpen edges or corners, buff, or polish metal or plastic work pieces, wrap and place in containers.
WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION PRE-REQUISITE 1.
Basic computer knowledge/experience.

2 years experience required.PHYSICAL & VISUAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION Visual acuity required for reading computer screens and documents.
Prolonged sitting and/or standing.
Required to push, pull, reach overhead, climb stairs, bend and exert up to 50 pounds of force.
Required to wear protective safety equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and NIOSH face mask.

Verify quality of finish work pieces by inspecting them, comparing them to finish templates, measuring their dimensions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Including and not limited to: Work in a team environment.
Read precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
Detect defects such as cracks, damaged, undercut.
Ability to deburr medium to complex parts on thin walls, floors with tight tolerance.
Select files or abrasives, according to materials, sizes and sharps of work pieces.
Grind, sand, clean, or polish parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing.
Perform routine maintenance on equipments, hand tools and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
Verify quality of finish work pieces by inspecting them, comparing them to finish templates, measuring their dimensions
