Data Quality Analyst

Working closely with Clear Capital’s Information Management team, the Data Quality Analyst will provide quality assurance oversight (data error detection and correction) on business processes where data is collected, stored, transformed or used. Specifically, you will have the opportunity to assist the team in integrating data assets from a variety of systems and sources (external and internal) into Clear Capital’s systems, ensuring and monitoring the final quality of our internal data stores and flows. Your strong data analysis skills will ensure clean data that can be enacted upon by Clear Capital’s analytic systems and application code, thereby maintaining our high quality standards for products and services.

What you will work on

* Analyze data for compliance to design specification (source-to-target) and expected/anticipated behaviors, identifying quality issues and recommending solutions
* Actively communicate to internal/external/stakeholders/customers quality issues with regards to the way data is collected, stored, processed or used
* Establish, monitor, and report on Service Level Agreements of external data assets with the outsourcing vendor as it relates to quality assurance and production performance.
* Perform audits, as required, to ensure quality processes exist and are being adhered to.
* Communicate pervasiveness of data quality problems and their potential impacts, and take the lead in resolving via data integration and/or business process improvement.
* Investigate, troubleshoot and document data issues from internal and external customers
* Evaluate Clear Capital’s current quality control processes and make recommendations for process improvement
* Assist other departments in the design of quality edit checks, test plans, etc. to ensure data quality objectives are met, as well as participate in cross-functional teams and development/improvement task forces.
* Ensure compliance with the company’s data privacy policy
* Manage documentation related to data quality (data standards, definitions, DQA documents such as checklists, guidelines, manuals, templates, forms, etc.)

Who we are looking for

* Knowledge of research methods, statistical or data analysis, and strong analytical/problem solving and decision making skills
* Familiarity with the Appraisal Management and Real Estate industry, and how data in these areas is defined and used
* Data Warehouse knowledge/experience
* Strong verbal and written communication
* Good project/time management and teamwork skills
* Detail oriented
