JOB DESCRIPTION: The Data Analyst III is responsible for complex reporting processes that may require functions such as many-to-many merges, mining of unstructured data to create discrete data elements, converting data types, creating moving window metrics.
The Analyst is advanced in at least 1 programming language (e.g.
R, SAS, SQL, Python, VBA).
Key programming skills include ability to independently write macros or functions and ability to write code that can be readily adapted for other reporting needs.
The Analyst has a foundational understanding of statistical theory and underlying mathematical distributions, and is able to convey complex findings in simple terms to multidisciplinary audiences.
The Analyst is capable of building advanced data collection tools with conditional logic and feedback processes.
The Analyst is a subject-matter expert in the area they provide reporting for, and are able to autonomously lead projects with minimal oversight to achieve project deliverables.
The Analyst will help grow skillsets for other analysts within the organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant work experience, or Associate’s degree and 4+ years of experience.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (MediumMax 25lbs): up to 25 lbs, 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 25 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
