Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally.  Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital.  We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

The Credit Analyst 3 is responsible for analyzing Local Government clients and segments and conducting presentations or reports on findings to senior management.

Functions include: conducting complex credit investigations and analyzing diverse credit information for loans and other types of credit exposure; analyzing/formalizing documentation of credit transactions and/or credit history of customers; assisting in preparation of credit reports for presentation to credit leaders and/or approval teams; performing research/analysis related to such credit structures/projects such as industry studies and management reports.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of credit analysis experience

Desired Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data

Other Desired Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data including governmental and fund accounting
• 2+ years of credit experience with Government and/or Fund Accounting.

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

TX-Austin: Min: $60,400 Mid: $85,000
