Cost Control Engineer

This is a Full-time position in Phoenix, AZ posted December 17, 2021.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of the monthly closing documents and reports to be submitted to the Operations
  • Support and preparation of the forecast, along with the Project Managers and Operations Manager, for the remainder of the project, with special focus on the next 4 month billing cycle, including revenue, cost, and cash-flow projections.
  • Gather information from project teams (quantities, accruals, etc.) for accurate reporting.
  • Preparation and analysis of the following reports to ensure they accurately reflect the current project status: Forecasting reports, weekly project report, monthly follow-up report, weekly follow-up report, labor reports.
  • Preparation of all supporting documents for the monthly closing (accrual sheets, etc.).
  • Review and supervision of subcontractors and service agreements, purchase orders and change orders, contract modifications, and estimation of billing payments and cost impact to the project.
  • Preparation of change orders when required.
  • Schedule impacts along with financial impacts when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with a financial background or education.
  • 1 years’ experience in cost control construction (prefer)
  • Microsoft Office
  • Communication Skill, spoken and written
