CorTech: Production Operator

Job Title : Lateral Flow AssemblerMon-Fri 7am-3:30pmJOB DESCRIPTION :Major Duties and Responsibilities:?

Laminate various membranes and filter sheets on an adhesive backing card?

Slice assembled card into strips?

Place strips into plastic housing to assemble test device?

Visually inspect assembled test device for physical defects?

Place test device into foil pouch and seal pouch?

Dispense buffer solution into 5 ml bottles?

Manually cap 5 ml bottles?

Complete kit box with test device, instructions for use, etc.?

Print pouch, buffer bottle and box labels with part and lot number and expiration date?

The process uses some semi-automated equipment, therefore, is very manual?

Require understanding of detailed operating procedures and ability to complete manufacturing documentation?

Maintain work area in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practice).Additional Skills:?

Good oral and written communication skills.?

Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.?

Ability to multi-task and work independently.?

Technical aptitude to operate manufacturing equipment.Educational Requirements:?

High School or some technical schoolingExperience Requirements:?

0-2+ years relevant experience in the medical device industry; previous experience with in-vitro diagnostics preferred
