Corporate Counsel

Review, draft, revise, negotiate and finalize a variety of licensing and services agreements with customers, resellers, technology partners, vendors, and consultants.

Responsibilities include working with global business partners and management to ensure agreements consistent with business goals and corporate policies.

Identify, develop, and promote solutions to effectively address recurring legal issues Provide strategic, as well as tactical, legal guidance, as a trusted advisor to Company management Additional projects as assigned by General Counsel or Senior Director, Legal Services Qualifications: JD or LLB from an accredited law school; status as a member in good standing of the State Bar of California 1 to 2 years of experience in commercial law matters and contract drafting; preferably in-house, technology-related, and international contracts Ability to exercise judgment with respect to the development and implementation of alternatives to resolve contract/business issues Highly effective written and verbal communication skills Strong time management, negotiation and organization skills Capable of managing multiple tasks and working well under pressure Must be a self-starter, resourceful and able to participate in a highly collaborative, team-oriented work environment Ability to maintain confidentiality and assist on sensitive matters with discretion Ability to effectively interface with other departments, across all levels of the organization and with customers and potential customers and maintain cooperative working relationships Proficient with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, as well as the ability to learn other software programs as needed About Verimatrix: Verimatrix (Euronext Paris: VMX), formerly known as Inside Secure, is a trusted business partner providing software security and business intelligence solutions that protect content, applications, and devices across multiple markets.
