Controls Engineer

Responsibilities:

– Handle assembly line process evaluation and improvement 

– Design, engineer, and procure assembly equipment for future programs 

– Help maintain and re-engineer current assembly equipment 

– Program assembly equipment with assistance from Controls Engineers 

Requirements: 

– Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 

– Open to wok any shift

– Minimum of 3 years of Siemens PLC programming. 

– Previous experience with implementing and launching projects. 

– Experience reading electrical prints, ladder logic, and schematics (preferred). 

– Hands-on floor experience with manufacturing equipment is required. 

– Experience with robotic programming or camera systems is preferred. 

– Ability to communicate with customers both internal and external. 

– Strong problem solving skills and team focused. 

– Ability to work with outside vendors on preparing quotes and procuring process improvement equipment. 

– Writing and implementing work instructions, PFMEA, and all process documentation.
