HTI Cybernetics is currently seeking experienced Controls Engineers.
This Controls Engineer must have the Ability to design Electrical and Pneumatic schematics using AutoCAD and/or E-Plan.
The Controls Engineer will perform startup, and debug of controls system for tooling and equipment at our facility, and in our customer’s facilities.
The Controls Engineer must understand Rockwell Control Logix PLC programming (other PLC software a plus).
The Controls Engineer must be able to travel within the USA, Canada and Mexico.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES CONTROLS ENGINEER: Include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Experience with/knowledge of Rockwell Control Logix PLC programming (other PLC software a plus)
The Ability to design Electrical and Pneumatic schematics using AutoCAD and/or E-Plan
Be Able to Preform Startup and Debug of controls system for tooling and equipment at our facility and in our customer’s facilities
The acumen to Represent a professional company image in all customer contact situations
Must be able to gain knowledgeable of corporate specifications and electrical codes
The Ability to follow customer specifications
Must have a High level of electrical and mechanical aptitude
Must be self-motivated, with strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
Able to travel within the USA, Canada and Mexico
GM Global Certification is a plus
Ensure equipment is operating effectively and efficiently (cycle time)
Responsible for start-up in plant as well as any training requirements.
EDUCATION / SKILLS / CONTROLS ENGINEER
· BSEE preferred, or Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· The Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
· The Capability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
· The Ability to effectively present information, and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
· The experience, and knowledge to work with pneumatic and electrical calculations
· The Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
· The Capability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
· The knowledge of how to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
