Content Strategist

US Tech Solutions is seeking a “Content Strategist” for a 06 Months Contract to Hire position and will be a 100% remote role.

What You’ll Do

· Lead content strategy for the end-to-end user experience of digital products

· Partner with UX and visual design teammates to design, test, and implement effective and innovate digital experiences in our products

· Define content requirements around business and user needs by working closely with product owners, designers, researchers, and engineers

· Use data to drive content decisions and the digital user experience

· Work closely with members of the Core Design Team to iterate on and build out an expanding foundation of global content types and componentry, metadata schemes and taxonomies, and CMS-based workflows and templates

· Inform the work of the Core Design Team by communicating product
– and Program-specific needs, along with proposed solutions for meeting those needs

· Create user-friendly content strategy and architecture deliverables (e.g., content models, template guidelines) to document design decisions and considerations, CMS requirements, and editorial rules and recommendations

· Design presentations that communicate the thinking behind your approach in a way that is clear, succinct, and tailored to the presentation audience
About You
You are:

· Someone who enjoys getting into the weeds and untangling complex ecosystems

· Able to implement structure, but can find ways for systems to be flexible where needed

· A strong negotiator that is willing to collaborate and find a middle ground

· Someone who is dedicated and passionate about our non-profit mission

· A great storyteller both with words and visualizations

· Effective, but easy-going – someone that is fun to work with and really thrives in a collaborative environment

· A leader that is not afraid to speak up about what they feel is important, but also is strategic in picking their battles

· A person with a good sense of humor who isn’t afraid to try and fail (or to try and succeed!)

· Experienced with working in agile, or iterative design and delivery environments

· Ready to provide relevant case studies and a portfolio of your work

· Able to point to a minimum of 5 years’ experience in this or a related field
