CONTENT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

This is a Full-time position in Denver, CO posted March 12, 2021.

NIC Colorado, a subsidiary of NIC Inc., the nationrsquos leading provider of eGovernment services (NASDAQ EGOV), is looking to add an entry level Project Manager to manage web-based projects and service implementations for the state of Coloradorsquos web portal (www.colorado.gov httpwww.colorado.gov ). Responsibilities Develop key project documentation, including, but not limited to, task orderswork orders, statements of work, requirements and specification documents, comprehensive project management plans and all associated sub-plans, deployment plans, and lessons-learned documents. Provide support, content strategy guidance, and data entry for Drupal based content management system (CMS). Act as the main point of contact for website administration tasks and questions, such as content authoring, formatting, user administration, and best practices. Design training materials for internal and external audiences. Conduct in person training sessions. Build marketing plans and collateral related to Drupal Services. Work with the cross-functional teams to identify, articulate, and mitigate project issues and risks. Effectively manage inter-project and external project dependencies. Implement and execute comprehensive stakeholder management and communication plans. Assist in creation of presentations on project goals and plans, including progress reports. Provide accurate and timely reports on project health. Support CMS framework and content authors. Perform other Project ManagementCMS related duties as requested to achieve organizational objectives. Contributes to account management initiatives, including partner relationship development and cultivating new opportunities for deployed services. Other responsibilities assigned by manager Preferred Qualifications Personal Attributes 1-3 years of Project Management experience leading project teams, as a member of an IT Project Management Office (PMO), or as an individual contributor within an IT department. Diverse and wide-ranging IT and project management experience. Demonstrable history of implementing project management best practices leveraging multiple methodologies. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated strength in customer service interactions Prefer some CMS experience, such as Drupal, Sitecore, WordPress, SharePoint, etc. Related experience in content management, information systems, or other related fields Experience using CMS in a professional environment. Flexibility in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations Willingness to ask questions rather than just follow directions is required. Proficient using standard office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
