PerkinElmer is seeking a Consumables Business Operations Intern to join our team.

Role Purpose Learning about PerkinElmer Applied consumables pricing strategy, product rationalization, and supply-demand operational best practices.

Job Specifications Basic Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled in a Master of Business Admiration (MBA) program.

Preferred Qualifications: Group work/project experience.

Strong background in finance, profitability analysis, and costing.

Special Skills & Knowledge: Data analytics.

Knowledge of scientific consumables is a plus.

Key Accountabilities Strategic: Increase consumables overall profitability and cost position.

Operational: Work closely with the product management, operations, and global pricing team members.

Execute pricing optimization through price increase or by restricting discount structure.

Rationalize low margin non-profitable low runners, plan excess inventory burndown.

Provide supply-demand operational process learnings.

Participating in weekly progress review and planning sessions.
