Company description: We are an established 30+ year business in the luxury goods and jewelry industry with a busy office environment and an all-star team of 10+ employees, seeking a responsible operations specialist to perform a variety of operational, administrative and clerical tasks.Our team is dedicated to delivering the highest level of customer service and service excellence, from the time our retail partners place an order to the moment the end-consumer receives their jewelry.
The team coordinates and executes day to day operations while maintaining strong relationships with our retail partners.
As a team member, you will collaborate within a close-knit team, and learn every aspect of the business.
Operations Associate responsibilities include order consolidation, customer service, data entry, shipping & receiving, and assisting inventory and customer service managers.
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office mainly Excel and Outlook and have strong computer skills in order to learn new softwares.Responsibilities:Providing world-class service to retail partners through multiple contact channels, including phone and email.Provide support utilizing data entry, customer service, order fulfillment and tracking, customer invoicing, and product shipmentsAssist customer service and production teams with wide spectrum of tasks including inventory management and product taggingExecute general office tasks including answering a phones, emails and inbound requests with a high level of professionalismHelp ensure smooth and sufficient preparation for industry events and trade showsAssist with general shipping and receiving proceduresSeek ways to consistently improve the customer experience while adding value to our brand, office culture and business processsesCollaborate closely with other customer care team members Requirements:Strong value system of honesty, quality work products and trustworthiness (“safe pair of hands”)Self-starter with an interest in growing personally and professionally within a dynamic organization, and an interest in a position that is positioned for growth within the companyCustomer-service minded individuals with a high standard for quality service and a passion for helping others, including an ability to interface with all types of people over the phone and in personHighly motivated and detail oriented, with the ability to think and adapt critically in a high-demand environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTeam player type of attitude and an ability to work collaboratively with different departments and team membersStrong computer skills with an ability to learn new softwares, and experience with all Windows based systemsExceptional time management, accountability, and organization skillsAbility to use Microsoft Office at a high proficiency levelComfort with multi-tasking, swiftly adjusting priorities in a fast-paced working environment and detail-oriented with work productMinimum of 5 years in an office environment
