The Opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a Concessions Lead to join our team at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
As a Concessions Lead you will supervise an assigned concessions stand or multiple stands and lead associates in the delivery of excellent guest service at all times.
This is a seasonal position that will extend to the end of fall.
Work hours will vary due to home game schedule and events.

Responsibilities Supervises and coordinates activities of concession associates on a per shift basis, including training, counseling and enforcing work procedures and service standards.
Ensures job performance of stand attendants via GuestPath Service Standards and operational service standards, health department, and all related operational standards.
Inspects all stands and portables in the assigned area, ensuring all stands, portable carts and surrounding areas remain clean, sanitized, and safe and that all equipment is working properly.
Analyzes and resolves all problems with associates, guests, and the operation with the assistance of management as needed.
Verifies stand inventories before and after each event, and as assigned.
Verifies food preparation for timeliness, and proper quantities.
Evaluates and documents performance of stand attendants.
Performs opening and closing procedures for assigned area.
Assists concession associates in serving guests as business levels demand.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old.
Previous experience in a supervisory position required; previous experience in food service preferred.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be TABC certified every two (2) years.
Must attend the DNC Alcohol Refresher Course.
Must obtain Food Handling certification every two (2) years.
Excellent guest service skills.
Knowledgeable in the operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues.
Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
– ability to communicate with staff and to prepare written stand reports after each event.
Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan ahead.
Physical Requirements Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.
Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.
Frequently immerses hands in water, soaps and sanitizer.
May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on season.
May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces.
Hazards include but are not limited to cuts from broken glass, slips, trips, falls, cuts, burns and strains.
Noise level may be moderate-to-high during busy times.
