Job Title Community Counseling CoordinatorDepartment Counseling DepartmentEssential FunctionsThe University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking applications for a part time Community Counseling Clinic Coordinator in the College of Education’s Counseling Department.

This position’s duties include: counseling clinic administrative supervisor; maintains records; and provides marketing clinic outreach in order to secure an adequate number of clients for the Community Counseling Clinic.

The individual reports to the Department Chair and interacts with faculty related to clinic operations, coordinates the clinic client/student scheduling; assists with the clinic orientation sessions for Counseling students; prepares reports; oversees procedures, maintenance of clinic operation (i.e.

forms/rooms, furniture, equipment); provides administrative and or clinical supervision of students; and other duties as assigned by the department chair, dean associate dean and or dean of the college of education.

This entails the administrative and or student supervision, facilitation of group counseling sessions, record keeping, and marketing outreach to secure an adequate number of clients.

Coordinate clinic scheduling for clients and COUN 8220 students.

Assist with phone contacts, and performs other related duties as assigned.

Maintain records of the total number of clients and client contact hours for the clinic.

Assist in clinic orientation sessions for COUN 8220 students.

Maintain clinic files in secured area 5.

Assist in preparation of the clinic portion of the annual report 6.

Oversee procedures to secure adequate number of clinic clients: to include campus wide and community outreach, advertising, publicity etc.

Maintenance of operational clinic forms, client forms, client / student folders, rooms, furniture and equipment 8.
