Company Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia Conducts analytical studies to identify, resolve and implement solutions to operational and system problems.

Performs ongoing data quality assessments on vendor data and Federal Reserve collateral holdings through the use of analytical tools.

Formulates and presents recommendations to department management.

Provides administrative and analytical support for system initiatives, including data quality reviews and development of analytical databases.

Formulates recommendations and presents written and oral reports of completed tasks to management with limited supervision.

May create and facilitate departmental training programs.

May occasionally act as lead for System and operational projects of typically moderate to large scope.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is one of the 12 regional Reserve Banks that, together with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., make up the Federal Reserve System.

It helps formulate and implement monetary policy, supervises banks and bank and savings and loan holding companies, and provides financial services to depository institutions and the federal government.

Job Summary: Conduct analytical studies to identify, resolve and implement solutions to operational and system problems.

Perform ongoing data quality assessments on vendor data and Federal Reserve collateral holdings through the use of analytical tools.

Present recommendations to department management.

Provide administrative and analytical support for system initiatives, including data quality reviews and development of analytical databases.

Create recommendations and present written and oral reports of completed tasks to management independently.

May create and facilitate departmental training programs.

May occasionally lead System and operational projects of typically moderate to large scope.

Responsibilities: Create and run moderate to complex queries and data requests to support strategic projects Document system updates and enhancements, communicates and coordinates system changes and conducts training on procedures Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases / data repositories Identify and resolve issues with data delivery, data quality and business user queries Analyze and resolve user issues; guide communication between users and technical staff Define our requirements and use cases Be an expert for projects to enhance and maintain system applications and data repositories Work with all staff and management levels by attending System conference calls and planning sessions; May be assigned to work on Bank or System-level projects/groups Maintain professional knowledge by keeping informed about System-related activities, which includes changes or additions to regulations, Board policies, business procedures and Information Security Ensure ongoing use of and adherence to Federal Reserve policies and practices including established project management methodologies and Program Assurance Function Updates Support the Departments information security, risk management and business resumption activities Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or related field Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience; Knowledge of the financial industry a plus Experience leading an activity preferred Cloud Practitioner Certification, or anticipated completion of Certification, is required within one (1) year of hire Knowledge: Skills and familiarity in the areas of: Written and oral communication Interpersonal interaction, and collaboration Problem-solving, analytics and research Project Management methodologies Requirements documentation, test script creation and application testing Database language and tools Word processing, presentation, spreadsheet software and other office tools Other Requirements: Some travel may be required (about 10% for system projects, training, conferences etc.) Will be asked to work nights and weekends occasionally, as part of an on call rotational schedule Perform all responsibilities in a manner that supports the Bank’s objective to produce error-free work and to provide high quality customer service.
