This is a Full-time position in Washington, MO posted April 23, 2021.
GH Tool is NOT a production shop.
The CNC Machinist sets up and operates high-speed 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines, customizes and edits programs, and makes necessary measurements in order to manufacture custom-designed parts within tolerance.
We are seeking trained CNC machinists to work on either shift: Night shift (Mon-Thurs, start time 4:45 p.m.) at 10% premium and double time pay for hours worked over 50/week.
Weekend shift (Fri-Sun, work three 12-hour shifts and receive 40 hours pay) with double time pay for hours over 44/week.

Requirements: Two (2) year technical degree or three (3) years equivalent experience in CNC machining.
*NEW GRADS WELCOME* Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math calculations.
Physical ability to move, lift and/or push up to 50 lbs.

Physical ability to walk/stand on concrete for the duration of the work shift, in increments of up to six (6) hours.
Ability to effectively and safely use a wide variety of hand measuring tools, wrenches, files, and various small tools associated with CNC machining.
Accuracy and attention to detail are critical to this position.
Various cutting tools are used generating metal chips, and the consistent application of safe work practices is critical.
Regular attendance is required and considerable overtime is to be expected.
