NGHS is currently seeking a Full Time Hospice Inpatient Certified Nursing Assistant.
Full Time Nights 7:00PM-7:00AM Hospice Inpatient CNA.
Job Summary:Has successfully completed Certified Nursing Assistant training who renders direct personal care and other supported services to patients within patients’ place of residence under the direction of the Registered Nurse and in accordance with the individual plan of care. This position will care for patients in the infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. Employee performs clinical duties in accordance with population specific guidelines and adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as outlined in policy and procedures.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Current Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant licensure required.
- CNA license is acceptable as minimum educational requirement.
- One year of nursing assistant-related experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Weight Carried up to 50lbs
- Occasional kneeling/stooping/bending
- Occasional standing/walking
- Occasional pushing/pulling
- Occasional intensive work, requires reading, writing, & talking
