The Centers at St. Camillus is currently hiring Full Time Float CNA’s on Day and Evening Shift!

Responsibilities:

St. Camillus is seeking dynamic, confident Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to be in the unique role of working throughout the nursing facility on different units. The float positions have an enhanced hourly rate as well as a premium shift differential for days and evening shift. If you are a strong CNA who desires to be the best caregiver where its needed most, apply today. Assignments are determined by the daily needs of the facility on a daily basis.
This position provides direct resident care and provides for the resident’s comfort, while respecting the resident’s rights as an individual. In addition, this position functions as a valuable nursing team member and always demonstrates professional conduct.
CNA Performance Responsibilities and Standards:
- Assist with the maintenance of resident’s nutritional needs.
- Maintain or assist with restoration of normal bowel and bladder function.
- Observe and report significant changes in a resident’s condition.
- Understand the psychological needs of the resident.
- Practice infections control principles.
- Demonstrate interest in professional growth.
- Practice principles of rehabilitation.
- Responsible for employee injury prevention, follows safety rules, and addresses safety issues with supervisor.
Qualifications:
Eligible Certified Nursing Assistants must meet the below requirements:
- A High school diploma or GED
- CNA certification listed as current in the NYS Registry
- CNA certification status must be without findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property certification (printed verification of this Registry will be filed in the Human Resource Department).
