Overview: Lighthouse Hospice is GROWING We are hiring PRN Compassionate Hospice Home Health Aides (CHHA, CNA) to provide patient care in and around the Cherry Hill Area We provide patient care in the counties of Mercer, all the way to Cumberland and Salem.

– very flexibleOurHospice Home Health Aides (HHA) work under the supervision of a registered nurse and perform various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient’s personal needs and to promote comfort.

As a Hospice Aide, you are responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations, and documenting observations and care performed.

Responsibilities: Performing personal care needs as outlined in the plan of care and attending to the request of the hospice patient and or family/caregiver promptly.Assist with various personal care needs including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, changing clothing, and shampooing.Focuses on customer service and continually strives to perform the duties of their job in a manner that will result in optimal patient satisfaction.Assist patients’ family members in caring for their terminally ill relatives by instructing them on how to go about performing basic health-care routines.Maintains and completes documentation accurately and promptly while in the patient’s home and within the agency and regulatory standards.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D.

required.Must be a Licensed Home Health Aide in the State of New Jersey.California, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, & Rhode Island: Given the COVID-19 pandemic, and the vaccine guidelines between facility partners and geographic regions, Care Hospice is requiring all colleagues to comply with the COVID-19 vaccination policy prior to starting employment.

Therefore, Care Hospice requires all colleagues, including new hires prior to their first day of employment, to submit appropriate documentation showing, i) completion of the full vaccination series against COVID-19 (i.e., two weeks past completing their complete COVID-19 vaccination series), or ii) approved exemption (medical contraindications or a sincerely held religious belief) through the formal vaccine exemption process from the COVID-19 vaccination requirement.
