As an Irrigation Tech, we will expect the following:You will ensure assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to Clean Scapes’ quality standards.
As a technician, you will oversee varying service lines and landscape installation.
A strong work ethic is needed to accomplish this job successfully.RESPONSIBILITIES:Repair Irrigation systemsInstalls, adjusts, repairs, and replaces irrigation systems.Perform preventative maintenance on irrigation/sprinkler systems; checks systems for proper operation to quickly locate and repair broken pipes, irrigation heads, etc.
to reduce water loss and assure proper operation of systems.Adjusts, resets, repairs, or replaces irrigation controller and/or valvesOperate trencher, and other mechanical equipment used in the operation, repair, install, and maintenance of systems.Maintains an inventory list of stock repair parts usedPrepare necessary maps.Communicate irrigation evaluations to managerMaintain tools and equipment in a clean and organized.
Experience1 year (Preferred)Licenses/Certifications:Drivers License (preferred)Irrigation License (preferred)Irrigation Tech License (preferred)Additional desired qualities, however not requiredKnowledge of blueprintsEffective oral and written communication skillsBilingual (Spanish)Physical DemandsLoad equipment and materials on and off trucks and trailersAbility to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees in the summer, and is often wet and cold in the winterAbility to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs multiple times a dayAbility to bend, and twist continuously throughout the day Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic Work 10+ hours per day, 5 days/week (with overtime)
