Build and lead teams in building security strategies across technical platforms on large, complex, mission-critical cyber and IT programs for the federal government. Define, enhance, implement, and maintain security solutions for one or more networks and technology platforms.
Establish, implement, and coordinate adherence to policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of information security services.
Exercise considerable latitude; has primary responsibility for supervision and development of managers. Ability to manage to contract requirements through multiple product vendors, service vendors, and teaming partners fostering collaboration, ensuring accountability, and driving results.
Work across cross-functional teams of technical, strategic, and operational SMEs delivering technical solutions.
Apply management, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation techniques to resolve the implementation, deployment, and transition issues for all internal and external stakeholders.
Support the development of intellectual capital related to next-generation cyber opportunities, and support whitepapers, proposal efforts, and client discussions that help the team grow into new and adjacent business areas.
Basic Qualifications:
15+ years of experience building security execution strategy across technical domains to advance cyber maturity within the federal government or a corporate enterprise
10+ years of experience providing cybersecurity subject matter expertise in technical domains, including Network Security, Endpoint/Server Security, Application Security, Cybersecurity, Operations, and Identity Management
7+ years of experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams in career growth and delivery and working closely with cross-functional technical teams to assess cybersecurity resilience and advance cyber resiliency across technologies
7+ years of experience researching and evaluating emerging technology, industry, and market trends to assist in enhanced cybersecurity resilience
Experience identifying security-related gaps in government environments and identifying and implementing solutions to close those gaps
Experience interfacing and providing briefings directly with senior government executives, including CISO and CIO and internal leadership and stakeholders such as Marketing, Business Development, Legal, and Government Relations
Experience with large scale cybersecurity and Agile SAFe Software development projects supporting the federal government or a corporate enterprise
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with large DevSecOps, cyber, cloud, analytics, O&M, and solutions
Experience with Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)
Experience with the DHS SELC process
Ability to effectively interact with stakeholders of varying levels
Possession of excellent time management skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Master’s degree in related field
Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
