Plans and directs all administrative, financial, and operational activities for the organization’s President, CEO or other top executive.

Coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information for the executive to facilitate efficient decision making.
  • Acts as a point of contact or gatekeeper between top management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates across multiple functional areas to provide oversight and guidance on key projects.
  • May act as an advisor to the chief executive.
  • May be responsible for the management of executive support staff.
  • Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives.
  • Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments.
  • Other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficient, professional and responsive at email and communication
  • Comprehensive understanding of the overall organization’s function
  • Experience advising executives, providing insights that lead to key decision making within the business
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to refine, summarize, and clearly present data and information to all levels of the organization
  • Travel to markets required up to 75% of the time

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Comprehensive understanding of the overall organization’s function
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to refine, summarize, and clearly present data and information to all levels of the organization
  • Requires travel to markets up to 75% of the time

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field required; experience may substitute for degree on a year-for-year basis above the minimum required
  • Minimum of six (6) to eight (8) years of leadership experience including experience advising executives, providing insights that lead to key decision making within the business
